We don’t particularly like legal Terms and Conditions. There has to be some rules so we are all happy. The rules for the use of this gite are
- Look after it like it was your own.
- If you bend it, you mend it.
- Leave it like you found it.
For this reason, we take a damage and excess-cleaning deposit from you on your arrival of £500 cash, which will be returned to you when we inspect the property with you, as you leave (assuming no damages). So long as you stick to the 3 rules above, you’ll be fine.
(we only added the “excess-cleaning” wording to this damage deposit because only 1 previous guest, among many very happy guests, left the place in a lot of mess! Everyone else has had the decency to leave it clean and tidy).
In addition, there is a cleaning contribution fee to cover (part of) the extensive cleaning which must be done for such a large property, especially given the current requirements for safety. This cleaning fee is £180, payable in cash directly to Ali who is the property manager and oversees the cleaning, and who will meet you at the house.
Deposit is 20% of the rental amount.
Full payment is taken 3 months prior to the holiday.
Minimum stay is for 7 days, except for Christmas where the minimum stay is 14 days (which includes Christmas and New Year).
Cancellation policy – Once payment is taken we cannot offer refunds other than as stated for Covid. If cancellations are necessary, we will always try to make every effort to move the holiday to convenient and available dates.
