Narnia door into your holiday wonderland

Remember the Narnia stories from when you were young?  Maybe you’ve read them to your kids?

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Prince Caspian, etc, all by C. S. Lewis.

In the stories, the children hide in an ancient, antique wardrobe, and accidentally slip through the back of the wardrobe, into a magical world of fantasy.

Imagine opening that wardrobe door and going through…

And as you open the door, you enter inside…

And you enter into the fantasy world beyond…

Into the Banquet Hall on your holidays
Into Narnia in the House

Yes, we built our own Narnia for you to explore, inside the holiday home!  This was very much a case of having a novel vision (pun intended) and having a first rate master carpenter who could bring it into reality.

Now all this is just a bit of fun.  It is a beautifully finished hand-made solid oak door, with the whole front of an antique Ash-wood wardrobe attached to it.

If you are looking for family-friendly gites in Dordogne, you will be more than happy at Gite Dordogne.
